Buff-breasted Sandpiper

2006 has been a good year for this species. This bird was found on 7th October 2006 by Tom Raven on the huntspill side of the Parrett Estuary by the STW outfall.

My second attempt to photograph this bird was more successful. I walked past the bird and waited for it to walk past me. Unfortunately the sun went in just as it got level with me but the results are still ok.
